IKEA Shop

ARCHITECTURAL VISUALIZATION OF IKEA SHOP

THE BASIS

These are visualizations of new IKEA shop located in Blue City shopping center in Warsaw, Poland. Due to the limited commercial space, the design concept of the store was slightly different than usual. IKEA in the Blue City is a new, smaller store format, located near to the city center. This was a bold and innovative project full of inspiration. Due to very short deadlines and a big amount of equipment and decoration objects, this project was demanding challenge for us.

MODELING AND LIGHTNING

This project contained a number of different assets of equipment and decorations so we divided it into few smaller parts. In the beginning, thanks to detailed architectural plans, we created entire construction part of the store. Then we started to fill the space with the furniture. A small number of objects (especially decorative ones) was sourced from our libraries, the rest we had to model from scratch (based on photography or drawings). To light the scene we used simple Corona sky and standard Corona lights.

FINAL TOUCH

After rendering we proceeded to make postproduction in Photoshop. In this project we used plugin ArionFX (developed by RandomControl) to achieve nice and smooth contrast and colors. If you need more information about the project please visit IKEA web site.
